M.Tech. Power System Engg. (Electrical Engg)

Career Prospects
Tech Programme is aimed at providing high quality innovators and engineers with an understanding of electrical power system engineering. It is envisaged that they will contribute meaningful to the power sector. It is understood that by the year 2018-20, there will be rapid growth in the area of power sector and there will be high demand of Electrical Engineers to the tune of 10 Lacs. Challenges imposed by energy resource constraints and bridging the gap between energy supply and demand. Especially qualified engineers with an ability to understand and to analyse power and energy systems are required.

B.Tech- (Computer Science & Engineering)

We at the department of CSE believe that learning is a continuous process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree, especially because steady and rapid advances in computing technologies shorten the life of tools and techniques prevalent today. Students are given a strong foundation in computer science and problem-solving techniques, and are made adaptable to changes. B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

The department assimilates three simple elements: Gifted and talented faculty; an emphasis on fundamental principles of core sciences; and an academic ambience that inspires one to address the technological challenges of the future. ME-APEX is backed by a number of well-developed laboratories such as CAD, CAM & MAT Lab, with state of the art hardware and software. The basic laboratories such as heat engines laboratory, Automation laboratory, Metrology laboratory, Heat transfer laboratory, Fuel testing laboratory, Machine Tools laboratory, Material Science laboratory, vibration laboratory and Industrial Engineering laboratory have fully fledged facilities.

Mechanical engineering is one of the highest employment generators among all the engineering streams. Due to the widespread usage of machinery and technology, mechanical engineers can find employment almost anywhere in the world. A mechanical engineering graduate can choose a career in Automation, Production, Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Finite Element Anah/sis (FEA), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Reverse Engineering, Power Generation, Nuclear Reactors, Air-conditioning Equipment’s, Aircraft Engines, Electrical and Transportation Equipment, Refineries and Automobiles manufacturing Industries.

B.Tech (Electrical Engineering)

This branch is one of the parent branches of the engineering. Since Electricity is the main source of energy & plays a pivotal role in the development of all industries, which is an indicator of the prosperity of any nation, it offers job opportunities in almost every industry. The course contains the basic concept of electrical machine, control systems, power electronics, digital electronics and microprocessors etc.

Career Prospects
Electrical engineers design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. Electrical engineers are involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover. They may also be involved in maintenance programmes.
