Sanjay Teachers Training College, established in the year 1986, by Sanjay Shiksha Samiti is catering the educational needs of the society through teacher education. It is approved by NCTE, affiliated to University of Rajasthan and has accredition by ‘NAAC’ UGC. At present, it has intake capacity of 200 seats in B.Ed., 200 seats in Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.-Sanskrit), 100 seats in STC General (D. EL. Ed), 100 seats in STC Sanskrit (D. EL. Ed)  & 50 seats in M.Ed. Course.

The institution follows all the norms and decision of regulatory bodies NCTE, SCERT and Rajasthan University, Jaipur and Govt. of Rajasthan for the required physical infrastructure, recruitment of the faculty, admission procedure, fee structure and curriculum to enact.


A teacher has to be a role model in the class and for that the teacher has to learn a range of skills and strategies to deliver good qualities in the classroom so that the students feel interested and enjoy teaching learning of the role model. They also learn and use a variety of skills at the time of their practice teaching. The faculty has to use a variety of approaches to put across the curriculum. This concept is implemented by the faculty members by using various approaches and provides multiple experiences for effective learning. Most of the sessions are interactive even for the transaction of theoretical concepts. During demonstration of lessons different techniques are used. The how, why and use of these techniques are explained in great detail. The faculty uses variety of instructional approaches before introducing any unit, topic or tasks. The main objective of each course is to make the pupil teachers independent and to cater to their needs. Some methods like practical, demonstration and some techniques like dramatization, role play, introductory, play method, etc. is used. Also some approaches like evaluative approach, structural approach, and communicative approach are used for instruction. Sometimes faculty assigns one topic to a group of students and they have to find out subtopics of the main topic to reflect on their previous knowledge; they try to predict events, make or confirm inferences to teach it. While dealing with the actual unit, the pupil teachers make connections with topic get new understanding, answer the questions and after completion of the unit, they are either made to recall, review, repeat, summarize, evaluate and ask questions. The pupil teachers have to prepare the lesson plans on computer in optional subject papers; they present it by using power point presentation. Our college also provides necessary guidance for improving quality and effectiveness in classroom teaching by using OHP or LCD. Our college has ample teaching learning materials in our library which is always open for the easy access


The building of the institution is a modern and lively example of good architecture. The institution has well furnished, spacious and excellent physical infrastructure as per NCTE norms, in terms of classrooms, library, laboratories, playground, sports facilities and other amenities. The classrooms are fully equipped with all facilities and are spacious and well-ventilated. The multipurpose Auditorium is fully developed with latest gadgets where all the functions are systematically arranged without any hindrance. The college has fully furnished science, psychology, computer, biology, chemistry, physics and educational technology (ET) laboratories. These infrastructural facilities are spread out in Vivekananda Block and Sarasvati Block. A large playground is there for various sports and games activities.

The Mission of the college is to promote the development of harmonious personality and to maintain Indian culture by providing value based teacher education.

The institution has its prime ambition to get acknowledged as a premier institution with a difference. The difference is being created by providing a conducive environment for teaching learning research and innovation to teacher and pupil teachers for their maximum potential actualization with a novel, ICT and value imbibed academic practices.

The Sanjay Teacher’s Training College is providing all facilities to the pupil teachers. It gives emphasis on practical and multi-dimensional education. The teaching is imparted both in English as well as in Hindi.

With the expansion of technology and science in all fields, it is the cry of the hour to technically equip our present as well as tomorrow’s teachers so that the educational field becomes balanced, updated and strengthened to face and accept any new changes and progress.

To meet this demand the professional course of teacher preparation for the elementary and secondary level lays stress on all aspects of teacher’s education. To prepare competent teachers of India, proficiency in some major components of education is needed i.e. Theoretical Orientation, School experience, Practical work and Research in Education.

School experience & exposure to the life of school means the teaching practice for a specified period that helps the pupil-teacher to get acquainted with the social-cultural life of the school. With this, the pupil-teacher gets to know their efficiency in teaching skills. Improvement can be done with the supervision of the teacher educators.

Practical work is of prime importance which includes different sessional & project work that leads to the brushing up of the creativity & drawing out of the hidden talents of each individual.

The institution wants to prepare personnel through systematic study and research which will contribute to the development of educational literature and lead to the growth of education as a discipline. The students can explain the nature of issues and problems faced by the state system of education and some innovative remedies to solve them.

Our future teachers can understand the light of recent global developments, the new thrust in education, the ways and means to inculcate intellectual, emotional and performance skill among secondary level teachers, the “Global citizens of tomorrow”.

Life @ sttc

For co–curricular activities like various Event Days Celebration, Debates, Cultural programmes, Exhibition of Teaching Aids and Books, we have a multi–purpose Auditorium equipped with advanced sound system. Eminent literary personalities and academicians visits and deliver lectures on various subjects.


For outdoor games and sports, the college has a large playground. Moreover we have a large 18696 sq.ft. [164 x 114] terrace which could also be used for the variety of activities if need arises. Our College has a large open ground & space for the indoor games. The college has a qualified physical trained teachers that looks after games & other sports activities along with yoga. The P.T.I. gives training to the pupil teachers to participate in various inter college, inter university competitions pupil teachers are encouraged & motivated to take part in different sports & games Certificate & trophies are also awarded to the best players by organizing a prize distributions function every year by our college.


We are proud to announce that our Principal, Dr Sunita Bhargav has achieved the prestigious “Prof Satyapal Ruhela Best Educational Socialist Award 2012”. We are glad to announce that our college lecturer Mrs. Mosam Pareek Secured 1st Position in M.Com and received gold medal from VMO University, Kota in the year 2015. Whenever any cultural, Literary, games or Outreach programs organized in our college the news related to various programs published in the several newspapers. Our College has established an Internal Quality Assurance Cell. The IQAC monitors and evaluate academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the college with evaluation of the performance and suggest the improved systems to be adopted like work diary introduced which is to be maintained and filled in daily by all the faculty members. Internet facilities have been introduced to update the knowledge of the faculty and to find out the latest teaching methods/systems. All these activities are organized and observed by in-charge faculty members and monitored by the principal. The major objectives of our college are that rural students should be given opportunities for education and employment so that the nation and the society get the service of good quality teachers. To achieve this goal, our college has prepared a detailed plan of action for the successful implementation of its objective. The head of the college observes the academic programmes carefully. She guides, assists and inspires the faculty members in the implementation of the programmes. She acts as a liaison officer between the management and the college. The activities carried out are observed and evaluated by the college and all the information regarding the performance and feedback of the activities is regularly conveyed to the management by her. The management thoroughly studies the performance and achievements of the college and remains in contact with the college for fulfilling the goals and objectives successfully.

Alumni Committee

The STTC Alumni Association’s core objective is to foster strong ties between STTC and its alumni. Besides providing opportunities to connect with other alumni, this association provides assistance in training and placements of the students, shares institutional insights and resources, etc.

 We at STTC strongly believe that the alumni of our College are no less than our brand ambassadors and are a true reflection of the principles and values we stand for. Our association with our students lasts much beyond the tenure of their course at STTC and we feel extremely proud of the accolades they have won in the Academic world.

 The Alumni Association provides a wide range of, organizes reunion events and provides other benefits exclusively for the alumni. Every alumnus is given access to a unique email ID which helps them connect and network with other alumni.

Library Committee

Library committee plans and executes purchase of books, periodicals, magazines etc. according to the requirements & suggestions of the committee members from time to time. The Committee is empowered to review the various library e-resources like on- line books on- line Journals, on-line News updates. This committee is well equipped with adequate book bank facility to assist financially poor pupil teachers.

Sports Committee

The motive of this Committee is to prepare a conducive environment for eminence in sports. It organizes frequent tournaments for active participation of the students, thereby giving them an arena to develop mentally as well as physically.

Students Council

Students Council is framed in a democratic and most amicable way. The Council organizes & manages various activities of the institution throughout the year. It provides platforms for growth and development to all the pupil teachers. The friendly atmosphere creates a sense of belongingness and thus all activities are carried out in a pleasant atmosphere

Placement Cell

The placement related activities, at the Institute, are carried out by Placement committee – it comprises of faculties from various departments of the institute. Student representatives who are in their final year are also appointed as committee members. The committee is headed by Principal of the Institute and Manager Corporate Relations acts as a member secretary. Once an organization shows interest in recruitment from the Institute, the students are asked to register their interest for the job. An email informing about the job opening and its details will be shared with the student coordinators and placement committee. Placement cell will try to get as much details as possible about the job profile. The registration of interest is to be done by students on the provided link, after going through the job profile. It will be responsibility of a student to keep his/her resumes updated with placement cell. Once the names of students are submitted, student is not allowed to withdraw from the selection process.
