Master of Laws (LL.M) is a two years post graduate course in Law. It imparts the students with a specialization in multiple legal streams and enhances one’s knowledge for further contribution in Research in the field of Law.
In the first year of this course, a student studies general law subjects including Law and Social Transformation, Legal Education and Research Methodology, Constitutional Law of India and New Challenges etc. and any specialization in the final year.
DURATION : 2 Year
ELIGIBILITY : LL.B. or an equivalent Law Degree with 50% marks (45% in case of ST/SC/PHW).
ADMISSION CRITERIA : Apex Common Entrance Test (ACET) Merit in Qualifying Examination + Personal Interview
SCHEDULE : Yearly
PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS : Law Education may be undertaken for several reasons, including to get the knowledge and skills necessary for admission to legal practice in a particular jurisdiction, to provide a greater breadth of knowledge to those working in other professions such as politics or business, to provide current lawyers with advanced training or greater specialisation, or to update lawyers on recent developments in the law.

The career prospects are as Legal Practitioner, Legal Adviser or a consultant.
